WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?

I have a master's degree in environmental studies so being mindful of the environment is important to me. Currently, our main cleaner is BioKleen with added (real) lemon essential oil. We also use Bon Ami, vinegar, soybean oil for stainless, Method Good For Wood for furniture, among others. We're at work now creating and testing our own cleaning products because we suspect we can make products that are greener and more affordable without sacrificing efficacy. Stay tuned!

WHO ACTUALLY CLEANS MY HOME?

For weekly or biweekly service, we usually start out with a double-time/double-fee deep clean. Then, we put you in our regular schedule according to your needs, our openings, and your location. From then on, as long as you're happy with your Housekeeper, that one person will be your Housekeeper. Having a single cleaner (rather than a "crew") ensures the highest and most tailored level of service.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

Pricing is based on occupancy, usage, square footage, and cleaning frequency. For weekly and biweekly service, most homes are a flat fee of $120-$160 per visit. Monthly cleans start at $150. One-time cleans generally start at $250.

WHAT SHOULD I DO PREPARE FOR MY CLEANING?

The tidier your home is when we arrive, the more time we are able to spend doing the real cleaning for which you've hired us. We know it sounds absurd to clean for your cleaner, but that is what we ask. For more info, see our New Clients page. Thank you!

HOW MUCH SHOULD I TIP MY HOUSEKEEPER?

West Seattle Housekeeping is a firm believer in sustainable, living wages. That said, a tip is always very appreciated and helps make your Housekeeper feel valued and thanked. All tips go directly to your cleaner so please tip in cash only. The typical range for weekly, biweekly or monthly service is $5-$25 per clean.

ARE YOU LICENSED, BONDED, AND INSURED?

Yes, yes, and yes!
